JOURNEY TO THE LAND OF THE MAYA

RETRIEVING THE LIGHT CODES

JANUARY 15 – 24, 2022

Once Upon an Ancient Time Ago ...

  • The Emerald Tablets of Thoth the Atlantean were brought to this area by pyramid priests from the land of Khem (Egypt), and one of the three  Lost Hall of Records are said to lie buried deep within a hidden chamber in this land.
  •
  • This region was known as Zarahemla, the home of the Brotherhood of Light and part of the sacred grid network described in The Keys of Enoch as the Head of the Dove. The activation of this grid network is to play a major role in this cycle of time.
  • Palenque, the City of Light, was the dwelling place of the Avatar Pacal Votan, who prophesied that all initiates and reincarnated Maya would once again return to the Temple of Inscriptions as in ancient times to receive the knowledge of cosmic wisdom.
These “light codes” are a vibrational language encoded in the Mayan heiroglyphs and temples, in their sacred codices, in the ancient stones that speak and in the waters that  flow through this Land of the BALAM (the jaguar).  The Maya were practicioners of a high level of  consciousness which we are destined to attain and must attain as a humanity. They are our star Elder Brothers and Sisters from the Rattlesnake Constellation, and their knowledge and wisdom is here for us to retrieve! We will all be Maya!  – Cynthia Flores-Signet

Cynthia was strongly called to this primal and mysterious land of the Maya which has been her base for the past 14 years. The teachings that she holds and shares with you on this journey were passed to her orally from Mayan elders and wisdom keepers and her studies of the mystery school traditions, and will not be found in any book.  You are invited to join her on this amazing pilgrimage through the jungle mists of no time!

OUR MAGICAL ITINERARY

10 Days/9 Nights

DAY 1: SAN CRISTOBAL DE LAS CASAS

Welcome home to one of the most enchanting colonial cities in Mexico! The “Pueblo Magico”, San Cristobal de las Casas is a holistic and tranquil community nestled in the highland mountains of Chiapas.  Here you will find an authentic experience of all the flavors, colors and rich cultural traditions that Mexico is famous for! Our charming hotel is near the heart of the historic plaza and within walking distance to all the shops, fabulous restaurants and open-air mercados! In the evening we will meet together for a welcome reception with kindred spirits, old and new, and settle in for the night with a Mexican hot chocolate and dream of our adventures ahead!

(Group Airport pick-up, welcome reception, and overnight lodging San Cristobal)

DAY 2: SAN CRISTOBAL/MAYAN MEDICINE MUSEUM AND  A TRADITIONAL MAYAN CEREMONY

After a delicious breakfast, Cynthia will lead us on a guided tour down cobblestoned streets and red-tiled rooftops to discover the magic of San Cristobal!  The presence of the ancient Maya is still strongly felt here in the deeply rooted indigenous traditions of its people.  Farmers and crafts people from all over the region come to the local mercado to sell their fresh cut flowers, vibrant fruits and vegetables, unique handicrafts, jewelry and colorful textiles. It is one of the greatest outdoor markets in the world!  In the afternoon, we will visit the Mayan Medicine Museum, where a Mayan shaman will offer our group a traditional ceremony to bless our journey ahead and demonstrate the ancient ways of curing with herbs. You will also have the opportunity to purchase some of their wonderful natural medicines.

(Breakfast, Mayan Medicine Museum & Ceremony, lunch and overnight lodging San Cristobal)

DAY 3: TONINA, ONE OF THE WORLD’S LARGEST PYRAMIDS

We depart San Cristobal early morning by private van through the emerald green mountains of Chiapas where we will stop along the way for a delicious brunch overlooking the breathtaking vistas of the Ocosingo Valley.  On to a full day of exploring the mysterious Mayan pyramid of Tonina.

This sacred center was built on 7 levels and was known for its calendars and rituals, astronomers and artists. Tonina is unique to the Mayan world in that it was built as one continuous structure linked together through a complex of temples, labyrinths, and underworld passageways.

(Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight lodging in Tonina)

DAY 4: MISOL-HA WATERFALL

In ancient times, initiates would participate in a purification or cleansing ritual before entering a sacred site.  Today we purify our bodies and renew our Spirit in the etheric azure pools of the 120 ft. waterfall of Misol-Ha, before our entry into Palenque.   Cynthia will lead us in a special ceremony to the Mother at the Water Cave of the Turtle, a hidden cave with an interior waterfall,  a place of Mayan ritual.  After our lunch by the water’s edge, we will travel on to The Great Mayan City of the Serpent of the Infinite … Na Chan Kaan … Palenque!

 (Breakfast, Lunch, and overnight Palenque)

DAY 5: THE MAYAN PYRAMIDS OF PALENQUE

Palenque is one of the most potent of all Mayan temple complexes and one of the Earth’s most sacred sites!  This is the dwelling place of the avatar Lord Pacal Votan, the magician of time and great Culture Bearer!  His magnificent sacred temple that is known as the Temple of the Inscriptions, was built as a calendar, a cosmic time clock, that has been set to open in this exact cosmic cycle of time for a new humanity in the time of the Sixth Sun!  We will walk ancient pathways laden with obsidian pieces and pottery chards and participate in ceremonies in forgotten temples.

(Breakfast, dinner and overnight Lodging Palenque)

DAY 6: YAXCHILAN AND BONAMPAK

Early rising for a magical journey into the mists of one of the last existing Rain Forests in the Americas. We will travel by lancha boat into the heart of the Selva (jungle) down the mighty Usumacinta River (the Nile of The Americas) to Yaxchilan, a city of ‘seers’, high magic and powerful queens during the Golden Age of the Maya.

Is this the site of the Lost Atlantean Hall of Records?   The only access to this site of labyrinths and temples is by boat, and it is here that the Lancandon Maya still secretly perform their rituals to the gods that dwell here. The call of the howler monkeys are the only sound that  breaks the palpable silence of the strong and ancient energy of this remote site.  Later in the afternoon, we will explore the Mayan temple site of  Bonampak, nestled in the rainforest and home to one of the world’s greatest art treasures – the most well preserved Mayan murals ever discovered!

(Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight in the Lancandon Rain Forest)

DAY 7: LANCANDON RAINFOREST AND AN ANCIENT MAYAN NIGHT CEREMONY

We stay another day to travel deeper into the heart of the Selva (the Lancandon jungle), further back into “no time”.  It is magical here, and time in the Rain Forest cannot be held to a strict itinerary. We will be open to the experience of what this land and its guardians present to us. Perhaps we will walk the jungle paths to forgotten Mayan temples, swim in secret waterfalls and lagoons, and learn about the animal and plant life unique to the world.

There is strong medicine here. Breathe in the oxygenated air, as this rainforest serves as the lungs of our planet!  This is the heart and home of the Lancandon Maya, the Hach Winik, the true people.  They are recognized by their white tunics and long black hair and are direct descendants of the ancient Maya who once inhabited Palenque, Bonampak and Yaxchilan.  They are keepers of ancient Mayan wisdom and continue to guard these sacred sites and perform ceremonies in reverence to the gods who dwell there. We will have the honor of participating in ceremony with a Lancandon Shaman…one of the last remaining keepers of this ancient Mayan rite spoken  in the original language of the ancient Maya that is so old, it is no longer understood.

(Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight in the Lancandon Rain Forest)

DAY 8: SCENIC ROUTE THROUGH THE MOUNTAINS

Today we return to San Cristobal on a route that takes us through indigenous villages and breathtaking views of the mountains!  We will make some stops along the way to see the local handicrafts unique to each village.

(Breakfast, lunch and overnightlodging in San Cristobal)

DAY 9: MORE EXPLORATION OF SAN CRISTOBAL AND THE SURROUNDING VILLAGES

The morning will be at your leisure to sleep in or have a coffee at one of the outdoor cafés on the andedor (the colorful cobblestoned walking streets).   We will meet for lunch and  continue exploring more hidden treasures of San Cristobal and the surrounding indigenous villages.  In the evening, a delicious farewell dinner to say goodbye (for now) to our traveling soul family of kindred spirits!

(Lunch, farewell dinner. and overnight lodging in San Cristobal)

DAY 10: GROUP AIRPORT TRANSFERS AND DEPARTURES

Once you are embraced by the heart and wisdom of the Maya, its land and its people, you will never be the same.  The language of the light codes which we retrieved throughout our journey are part of our soul knowing.  We may leave this land, but we take with us what we came here for,  the Maya consciousness, whih is expressed in their greeting:   In Lak’ech Ala K’in … I am another yourself!

GOOD TO KNOW!

There is no better way to start the New Year than on this sacred journey through the ancient land of the Maya!   While San Cristobal enjoys a perpetual cool and glorious climate most of the year, this is the perfect time for optimal weather at the Temple sites of Palenque and the Lancandon jungle.

The state of Chiapas has remained consistent in its rating as a “green light zone”, which gives it the highest safety rating from the Mexican government in cooperation with the health authorities put in place to monitor the covid situation in Mexico.

Chiapas is a hidden gem that is so far south in the beautiful and cool emerald green mountains of Mexico that many do not even know it exists!  I hope it stays that way for years to come for selfish reasons!   In the meanwhile, if you have any questions, call or write me … I am already here and waiting to greet you with open arms! I can’t wait to show you the natural beauty and the wonders of the Maya lands!  Cynthia
