FEBRUARY 23 – MARCH 1, 2025

REEFS, RAINFORESTS, CAVES AND PYRAMIDS!

THE STORY:

The original civilization called the Maya were of cosmic consciousness. They were pyramid builders whose knowledge was encoded into their sacred construction. This knowledge is not decipherable in words, it is a light language that resonates or “speaks” at a certain frequency.

According to the GREAT WHITE BROTHERHOOD in the sacred BOOK OF THE EMERALD TABLETS OF THOTH-THE-ATLANTEAN,
“Some thirteen hundred years B.C., Egypt, (ancient Khem) was in turmoil and many delegations of priests were sent to other parts of the world.  Among these were some of the Pyramid Priests who carried the Emerald Tablets as a talisman by which they could exercise authority over the less advanced  priest-craft of races descended from other Atlantean colonies.  The tablets were understood from legend to give the bearer authority from THOTH.
The particular group of priests bearing the tablets emigrated to Mesoamerica where they found a flourishing race, the Mayas, who remembered much of the Ancient Wisdom.  Among these the priests settled and remained.  In the tenth century the tablets were placed beneath the altar of one of the great temples of the Sun God.  After the conquest of the Mayas by the Spaniards the cities were abandoned and the treasures forgotten.”

The story continues of how the Tablets were eventually retrieved and taken back to the Great Pyramid of Egypt by one of the Brotherhood, and Cynthia will share this story and many more about the ancient Maya during our journey to Belize. Stories that have been given to her through oral tradition by Mayan elders, and from her studies in mystery school teachings and sacred texts.  For thousands of years these wondrous pyramids and temple sites have existed as silent sentinels, gazed upon in amazement by a humanity who have eyes but don’t truly “see”nor hear the messages encoded within the sacred construction.  These pyramids and temples tower above the rainforest canopy partly shrouded by the overgrowth of dense jungle. But they continue to endure through the mists of time, their secrets waiting to be revealed to a more conscious  humanity.   Are you ready? Let’s go!

THE EXPERIENCE:

The cosmovision of the ancient Maya reflected their understanding and interplay with the three realms of creation … the lower world, the surface world and the upper world.  Each of these realms had their separate domain, gods and influences which the Maya intimately wove into their daily life and in all their relationships with the seen and unseen. Maintaining this deep connection and reverence with these realms brought an order and a balance to the universe.

ANCIENT MAYA CEREMONIAL CAVING AND TUBING:

Belize is home to some of the most amazing and vast cave systems used by the ancient Maya to communicate with the gods of the lower world, Xibalba. Their pottery and ritual objects have remained undisturbed and in their original place for thousands of years. Caves and bodies of water such as rivers and underground streams and cenotes were considered passages to the Underworld.  They were transitional places that formed a boundary between the surface world (earth) and  the lower world,  the place of the ancestors and the lords of Xibalba.  In the realm of this lower world the laws are different than in the physical (surface) world.  Objects may appear inverted and time  bends.

We will take an incredible, life-altering journey though miles of the Mayan underworld, exploring crystal caverns, vaulted ceremonial rooms, pottery and other artifacts. We will wade through pure turquoise water that still holds the memory of this elder race called the Maya! We will swim, tube and explore on foot this lost realm, tracing the actual footprints of the  ancient shamans and priests

WHERE EARTH AND SKY MEET!
A harmonious relationship with the cosmos was the premise for the construction of pyramids and temple sites.  They were sacred precincts on earth in harmonic resonance with the heavens. As above, so below.
Ceremonies were timed to mirror celestial events.   The Maya were called the skywatchers, and their pyramids and temples were built in precise measurement and alignment with the heavens.  Their ceremonies were perfectly timed and attuned to the movement of the sun through the constellations.  Events that were occuring in the sky were  mirrored on earth  at the corresponding place at the same time.  In this way, sacred power was drawn down to create  heaven on earth!
We will travel to two of the largest and most magnificent Pyramid sites of Belize, XUNANTUNICH AND CARACOL!  And unlike the more popular Mayan pyramid sites of Mexico, the temple sites of Belize are totally open and accessible to explore!
It will be a most amazing adventure just getting there! We drive through a nature preserve of caves, waterfalls, streams and rivers with an abundance of wildlife, flora and fauna!  We will stop along the way to play in the clear and refreshing waters of the Rio Frio Pools and Big Rock Falls.
The enormous ancient stone city of  Xunantunich is one of the largest Mayan cities ever built! It was buried within the jungle and lost for centuries until it was rediscovered by accident when a villager in Belize came across a ghost of an ancient mayan maiden or priestess in the 1980’s. At the time, Belize was a British colony, so an expedition set out from the capital to explore the villager’s  stories. They then discovered the site of Xunantunich, a Maya term meaning “stone woman”. One of the biggest and most impressive Mayan buildings ever found was discovered in Xunantunich. Known as “El Castillo” (The Castle), it is covered in elaborately carved friezes, and remains the second-tallest tallest man-made structures in Belize. One of the figures carved on El Castillo is a three-dimensional seated person that may be the woman that the villager saw when he stumbled upon the site?  Xununtunich is where they just recently discored largest royal Mayan tomb, and heiroglyphs linking the site with the the sacred history of the ancient SNAKE DYNASTY that once ruled the region, including TIKAL in neighboring Guatemala!
